I have been seeing 3 new TG's (98, 99 & 100) on the Bearcom Special Events trunk come active today that definitely are part of the Indy coming up this weekend.. with conversations on TG 98 about seeing if a unit can hear Race Control.

I am not sure but 451.2000 is licensed Indy as well. Today I heard on this frequency DMR CC 6 TG 1001 encrypted was active. Not sure if this is part of the Indy but I have a feeling it might be.

As someone who gets to work these types of events track side. Chances are comms for this event is likely in the 450-470mhz range. Not sure about Toronto Indy, I haven't been to this event.

So far on Bearcom I have seen TG 90, 91, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 and 100 all are active with Indy related comms with the RID's all in the 171xx & 17200 range.

It's track control / sweepers / wrecker trucks / etc.

• 100 is Race Control and has communications with the Pace Car.
• 97 is Medical Control
• 96 is Volunteer Services

90 is Security, I believe.

I have see the range for the Indy between TG 89-92 and 95-100.. Any idea what the ones in the 30 range.. 31, 33, 34 are for?

I've only heard 33 and the talk was about loading docks. Could be for Logistics, but not sure.

Track comms like this would be great to listen to during the televised race. Televised race might be behind a few seconds. But to listen to all the action on the radio of what happens during a race is eventful enough plus you know what is actually going on especially during the commercial breaks.
Marshals, race control, pace car, track cleanup, tows, rescue etc..
