HONDA MOTORS PLANT IN MARYSVILLE

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Honda of America Plant in Marysville, OH use a trunked system? I dont see it listed so it could be an SMR. Maybe they even use conventional frequencies... (I dont see why they would do that, it is a HUGE plant). If anyone knows of any freqs or info please respond.

I looked Honda up in the FCC database and found many, many licenses for Honda of America in Marysville. Too many to list here. They don't appear to be licensed for any trunked systems, although they could be using their licensed frequencies in trunked mode. I've seen this happen before.

thanks, if they are using trunked mode, can it be monitored by a Radioshack PRO-93? I looked it up just now and i see they are using TONS of VHF and UHF Freqs. Could it be monitored do u think?

The Marysville/East Liberty stuff is all UHF conventional.

You could probably look at the transmitter locations on the FCC data to get a good idea of which frequency goes where.

they are conventional and use MANY frequencies for all sorts of things. There are at least 8 repeaters for Marysville alone. Maint, yard, emergency services, security, etc. ES is station 701 in Union County as they run their own Fire Department. They rarely use the County Fire radio.

Nope. I wish! It's the same channel that you would hear "security services" or "701". That would have saved me a ton of phone calls and a lot of time from not having to track down a phone...
