I guess I didn't catch the typo/mistake when posting since I couldn't view it immediately.

DSD+ displays it as 2699, which is hexadecimal A8B, or 43814, not 12512 as I posted. From my DSD+ log: There are also two radios in the logs as well, 61403 and 61413, if that helps.

43814 is not divisible by 16 and I can't find anything close with a status bit added, sry

Found another unknown active talkgroup on the Valparaiso site, 10496. It's analog and sounds like it might be INDOT as they're talking about cars, which sounds just like they're in a construction zone directing traffic. Been hearing it all morning but no real way to tell where and who they are.

I'm also finding some of the frequencies listed don't quite match up that's listed to what Unitrunker is showing. For example, the listing for Plymouth is showing two extra frequencies that's not appearing in Unitrunker, 852.2125 & 857.2125. On the Summit site it shows 855.9875 (LCN 199) as the alternate but Unitrunker's showing 854.3125 (LCN 132), which is not even listed here on RR. 852.4250 is also listed as a voice channel, but does not appear in Unitrunker. According to FCC entry the frequencies are assigned to the site so it's possible they're just not being used and only appear when used.

I'v heard the same comms "Flagman" on the Anderson site using TG 34032. The RIDs are within a larger group of DOT radios and some have been on DOT TGs. However that does not prove anything on a system like SAFE-T.

Please keep in mind that the Safe T site is being upgraded to P25 and some of the frequencies on a given site will be moved over to the new P25 system site for testing example would be if a site normally has 10 frequencies 4 of those will be moved over to the new site for set up and testing then when the new system come online and cut over happens all of the 10 will move over to the new system and off the old but to have both systems running each site will be divided in the FCC listed frequencies. Unitrunker does not always show the correct info if you don’t have a good signal coming into it you may get some false frequencies in use. For your site the ones you don’t see in unitrunker are being moved over to the new system for testing and set up

Was hoping for an overlap time period to test codeplugs before the switch. They had some kind of tower test in Indy awhile back but you had to reconfigure a code plug to test. So when you go back to your area based code-plug no way of knowing if it will work or not.
Not trying to be negative but seems to be some poor planning and the potential to have allot of issues.

What, worry? Why? Its all going so smoothly. ONLY 6 MONTHS behind schedule. What else could possibly go wrong!? I did tell you this was gonna happen, it is after all.. The State involved. Always something pops up. But they did get I believe most of the touching, and retouching done for both Phase 1, and 2.... Originally this was the time frame that Phase 3 was about to go live..... Sigh. Once things FINALLY start popping, guys please do submit any changes from what I have set up. I will now begin to finally start getting Northern half in in hopes that has not been flipped on its head also.

what is the northern part

Mark, I believe what Milf is referring to is that he's going to start populating the new p25 talk groups for the northern part of the state in the database. He's already added in the talk groups for a large part of the southern half of the state. Keep in mind, though, he's said before that these may change and there may be more to follow. This is just a starting point.

Correct, the 2 codeplugs I have received are matching up so far.... But both are 4 and 6 months old. Also I have not been informed of any changes to be made in my APX as of yet. So its looking pretty good so far. Here's to crossing fingers.

what about montgomery county does change all they talkgroup when the new P-25 take place

Pretty much every SafeT talkgroup looks to change. You will also need to change the trunked system type. All I have done, so far, is import the new system into my scanner, renamed it "SafeT P25" and set it to "ID search". I have it scanning along with the current SafeT system. One the migration is complete, I'll delete the old system.

If you want to take note of the dates on this page:

IPSC: P25 Project Status

It looks like the earliest for Montgomery county to switch over will be July. Although some neighboring counties could switch as early as May. This could easily be pushed back, based on how the migration schedule has gone so far.

Not sure if this belongs here or not but Brazil City PD apparently is now being dispatched by Clay County SD E911 Dispatch Center. Started yesterday and I've only heard City Officers on the BPD Dispatch TG a few times since, always advised that, "You're on City," and then they move back to CCSD Dispatch. Typical stuff getting used to new procedure.

I had heard this was in the works, actually for a couple of years. It makes sense. Little burg in a little county, no reason to have separate Dispatch Centers for City and County, and having to shunt calls from CCSD to the BPD console. I'm surprised the usual small-town politics didn't derail it somewhere along the line. Anyway, just FYI MILF...I suspect they'll leave the BPD Dispatch TG alone for now and do away with it in the P25 cut-over.

Safe-T System

Yes the Safe-T system can be scanned very well and you don't need a very expensive scanner. I am scanning right now about a 90mile radius with a Whistler WS 1040 using an indoor antenna the Watson W 801 regular gainer but you can just use the stock antenna as well. This scanner is the best all around receiver I own out of 180 scanners. Recives well across every band and supports re-branding. They can be bought for about $250. Enjoy
