You have something not right as Jennings SO is 21425 per the template IPSC has for the P25 system. All Zone 2 (Southern Zone) start with 2. All Zone 1 (Northern Zone) start with 1.

Jennings begins with 21416 and ends with 21433.

I will add Jennings and more of the ones I missed in Zone 2 after work today.

Running freescan logging mode, on the current system The TGID shows 29728 for NVE Disp. When logging the P25 channel the TGID shows 1852 the radio ids are 26785, 32291 and 30050. I have no experience with this stuff so I better just leave it up to the pros. I did make a csv file of the log results, but do not see a way to attach it here.

Yesterday I took a drive from southern Dearborn to Ripley to Jefferson to Switzerland counties looking for any new P25 control channels and found none. I visited each tower site in those counties and did a search on 700MHz and 800MHz from almost directly under or very near the towers. I also did some searching from other areas with good vantage points.

This is what I did find from each tower site incase anyone is interested. I got the same control channel data on multiple frequencies at several sites, likely due to my proximity to the towers. The bold/underlined frequency is the confirmed control channel for each site.

Is it correct that the P25 system has a different system ID? 6BD?

ALL The New P25 9600 Safe T Sites will have a different Site ID from the old Safe T when the NEW P25 sites comes online at first please don’t assume that the ID you see and hear will be the final ID lest say example Police DISP they will be Simo the old TG and old system to a new TG on the new P25 system for testing purposes so the ID you find at first when the site comes online may change. Also as of today I believe the only P25 CC online is Controller 2 in Bloomington IN and Controller 1 in Indianapolis IN. You will also see a New TG show up on the old system with a strange data noise on it before new sites come online.
You will see some frequencies on the old system about 4 of them disappear right before the new site system comes online then a new P25 CC will show up and with info in software tracking that will show 4 CC and will be P25 and have other info about the new system as well example of logging software would be unitrunker. There has been some other unforeseen delays that may push some start up of new sites to March.
Hope some of this info helps out

I'm in Bloomington and have Unitrunker but am having trouble finding the Bloomington P25 control channel.

The SAFE-T P25 DB on RR lists the Bloomington CC as 858.4875. That isn't it though, as 858.4875 is still in use as a voice channel on the old Bloomington SAFE-T site.

I've tried searching from 850-860 with my 436HP but didn't locate any new control channels.

So right now I don't have any data to submit. If someone can help me figure out how to find the Bloomington P25 CC I'd be happy to run Unitrunker on it.

Thanks.

I;m seeing same thing here in Clark/Floyd area. I assume it means the P25 isn't on yet. Searched all over the spectrum too, nothing.................

IPSC Programming Code Plug The initial set up for all radios on the system. It is subject to each County approving final list, and possible future changes. I will not say how I got the data, as I am not going to compromise folks jobs. Again, this is just the initial set up, it can and in some cases will change.

800 mhz band opening

Doing my usual search for p25 control channels, I noticed I'm getting a LOT more hits from 850-865mhz. So, if there's any distant SafeT sites you've been wanting to analyze, this might be a good time. I'm in SE indiana, near Versailles.

Almost forgot, I am getting a new hit for a p25 cc on 859.7625, but I'm not seeing any site info on my 996xt, other than "p25".

Jeff.

Update: I don't believe the p25 cc listed above is part of SafeT. After some verified absolutely CRAZY reception, that could have been a CC from Indy for all I know. I will say, as crazy as it sounds, I was getting traffic from as far away as Dayton and Columbus, OHIO on their 800 systems. The site ID's and frequencies matched with the database, talkgroups "sounded" like they should, according to the database. Oh, as for SafeT sites, I got hits on sites as far out as Martin, Monroe, Greene, & Washington counties. Also got a hit on Dept of corrections site in New Castle.

Well looks like another month has come and gone and no P25 yet. Anybody heard any news at all lately from IPSC ? Their site still says February.

I have come across something new. Over the past month or so now I am now picking up Lafayette Dist. 14 ISP Dispatch on Lake County Simulcast with SAFE-T. I have had it in all my scanners for several years, never heard anything. Find it strange I just start getting it out of the blue. Is there a reason I am now getting it?

The most logical reason is their is a Lafayette Trooper up in the Gary area for business or training in his state commission and has his radio on ISP 14 DISPATCH pulling that talkgroup unto the Lake County site
