There are 3 more simulcasts coming on... the 2 in the DB already (Lake Co. St. Joseph Co.), and the new 700 MHz site (LaPorte Co. 5 Site LSM WQYW618 ) that I know of. In the future there may be other sites built, or systems converted over for additional coverage. I do NOT have data yet on the 700 MHz site # yet, but it will be an Zone 1 site.

Nope, stand alone sites, no simulcast for Porter County, but you will have one on left, and right of you.

Really?? I though I had heard when they first announced they were going to switch over that they were planning to put up more sites in Porter County to make sure they had as much coverage as possible...

In regards to the new tool of site mapping, I am in the process of updating the FCC data from the Motorola to the P25 system. This will take a while so please be patient.

MILF, check the location of the Evansville Tower. The map shows it in Evansville when it is actually way up North near I64 and US 41 at the D35 post.

They are same locations. WPKU632 was the existing license for Summit with Wanatah and the 3 new locations added. WQYW618 is the new 700 license with the same locations.

I Wii switch summit to 800 simulcast and wanatah to 700 simulcast for now. We have no data as to how the new lineup is in the radios. No new codeplugs etc have surfaced with the new site profile lineup. So we will have to make adjustments once this phase goes live.

I was under the impression that the Laporte 700 was just the bottom end of the 800 range and was still technically one with the state p25 system and compatible with most 800 radios. Not a separate system like lake county.
