You're apparently not understanding that I'm talking about Delaware county, the city of Muncie. Delaware county is NOT Brown county, and Middletown is NOT Muncie.

If they are 3 stand alone sites why isn't there 3 site listings in the DB for Muncie/Delaware county? Multiple counties have multiple stand alone sites, and they're all listed individually, with individual control channel frequencies, etc.. Why isn't Delaware county listed that way?
There is again only ONE site for Delaware County for the SAFE-T. Again, see the official map. 1 site ONLY.

https://www.in.gov/ipsc/images/System_Map_Feb_2020.pdf Here are the actual sites. ONLY 1 site for Delaware. There are 3 for HENRY. All are stand alones. Also see the post from Jwheatley above.. Noting the third site just came online.

There are 2 callsigns here on this picture. WNSS511 is a county-issued callsign for 2 tower sites that share the same control channel. That control channel frequency is the ONLY control channel frequency for the SAFE-T system in Delaware county.

The other callsign on this picture is a callsign for IPSC. That callsign does NOT have a frequency that is listed as a control channel for Delaware county. Was that callsign erroneously added to this SAFE-T listing?

ONLY what is actually in use is listed in the DB.. If you have a correction then please do submit it. Per IPSC there is only one site. Run Pro96Com, or Unitrunker or use analyze features of your scanner and please do submit what you find.

Ripley county has activated encryption on a couple of talkgroups, 21617- Sheriff Tactical and 21609- County EMA Primary. They've actually been using it quite a while on the EMA talkgroup, I've been trying to see if it's full time or not. I just caught the Sheriff talkgroup encryption use this weekend. They don't use them very often, so I'm going with part-time for now. I'm still monitoring with unitrunker & have submitted info to update the database.

The EMA one might be also temporary just during the COVID-19 event. Its been discussed here but was decided not needed. Some EMS agencies have begun partial encryption on all ER Patient Reporting and as far as I know only some times is it in use other than certain IU Health LifeLine units its not full time. Have noted a couple of units using it to call in to IU facilities on SAFE-T. Have only noted it used once so far on IDPS, but it got turned back off as the ER could not really understand the comms on top of the muffling due to all EMT's and Paramedics wearing masks now. Looks like they may need to be trained to speak up and out more as if they were wearing SCBA's.

The EMA talkgroup went encrypted at least a few months ago, so I don't think it's temporary. It is used very little, though. I'd like to catch some more data on it before I call it full-time "E", but I believe it is.

I'm wondering if someone can help me find the FCC license for the 855.4875 CC for the Blackford county SAFE-T site.

I found the license for the VCs, WQEE661, however that license lists 5 frequencies for the Blackford county site, yet only 3 of those are showing up as VCs for SAFE-T. 852.3625, 852.6750, 853.3375 are the VCs I'm seeing.

The other 2 frequencies on the WQEE661 license for Blackford county are: 852.0375, 853.9375.

The 3 SAFE-T VCs and 852.0375 have MO allocations and FX and MO -45Mhz input freqs, however 853.9375 does not. 853.9375 only has an FB2 allocation, without any FX, MO, or -45Mhz input freq.

Any ideas on what the 852.0375 and 853.9375 freqs are for?

TIA

Why are some rid out of sequence in a county?
Example, 3710397 then 3710398 then 9423256 then 3710399 then 3710400 ....
So why some 942xxxx instead of 371xxxx. ?
The rid 942xxxx are jasper county units along with the rid 371xxxx

Thanks

Look at the length of the id. Shorter are ht or mobiles. Longer are consoles.that will give you better understanding.
My experience has been the exact opposite. Shorter IDs (e.g. 93001 for State Police Indianapolis RDC) are typically wireline consoles. Longer radio IDs (e.g. 9312345) are mobiles, portables, and possibly control stations. I have four control stations that all are 49xxxxx radio IDs but they are connected to consoles. For those that might not be familiar, a "control station" in commercial parlance is typically a mobile radio used like a base station, such as at a dispatch position or similar.

As for the first two digits of radio IDs you will see on IPSC a.k.a. SAFE-T, numbers 01 through 92 are counties respectively. Areas that use "regional" P25 systems such as the Indianapolis DPS system (formerly known as MECA) that now serves Marion, Hamilton, and Madison counties generally program their subscriber radio IDs in this same fashion, where the first two digits of the subscriber radio ID is the county number. All of these radio IDs are acually issued by the IPSC (state) NOC, and the subscriber radios have a common radio ID across both systems. Numbers 93 through 99 are state and federal agencies. ISP radios seem to be in the 93xxxxx blocks, INDOT, ISDH and I'm sure many others seem to be in the 94xxxxx blocks, and I know there are some federal radios programmed in the 99xxxxx blocks. I haven't personally observed any radio IDs with prefixes 95, 96, 97, or 98 yet, but I'm sure they are out there or will be at some point in the future.

As to wireline console IDs, they generally follow the same pattern on IPSC/SAFE-T. I can't speak to wireline console IDs on the IDPS system outside Marion County, however in Marion County the wireline console IDs seem to all be in the 790xxx range. It is important to remember these were provisioned in 2007-2008 when IDPS upgraded from Type II SmartNet analog to P25, well before the standardization of radio IDs between IPSC and IDPS, which began at approximately the same time IPSC was upgrading from SmartZone Omnilink mixed mode to a true P25 system.

I forgot to add that there are still several "legacy" radio IDs floating around on the IDPS system, at least on Site 1 and possibly Site 2. As far as I know, these are all five digit numbers generally formatted as 1xxxx. Usually these are older radios that may not have IPSC talkgroups.
