Hoover PD in pursuit - in the City of Birmingham

Vehicle got off I-59, one subject bailed, but was apprehended.

The other subject is still in vehicle, still failing to stop.

Vehicle just wrecked into a building.

Not sure of exact location.

PD requesting Fire Rescue.

Yep, that was a pretty good chase. I even got kudo's from Hoover, their supervisor called mine. The chase was kinda crazy as too many units were trying to call it and it drove me crazy. There was also a lot of misinformation on the radio concerning the officer that got shot. First they reported he was hurt in a wreck, then finally they reported he had been shot. They then said the suspect shot him only to find out it was an accidental discharge. All in all tho it was a fun chase, minus the police wreck that did actually occur and the officer that hurt himself.
