It was indeed a nasty accident but involved a train vs a car with extended extrication before L/G 73 flew the pt to DG with massive facial trauma.

The correct location was actually Smith Road and Airport Blvd and our first page in the incident was sent at 2121 hours.

AURORA - A train collided with a car at the intersection of Smith Road and Airport Boulevard Monday night, Aurora police say.
The car's driver was seriously injured and was air lifted to a local hospital. Police don't know whether the train was moving or not. We'll have more on this story on 9NEWS at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m.
