Horseshoe Casino (Hammond)

Does anyone know of a list, or a link (if any exist) for the frequencies used at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond? I'm going to be over that way Thursday and would like to listen in (if there's anything to hear worthwhile, that is )

I had a boat in Hammond Marina so I spent way more time (and money) in Horseshoe than I should have. I heard a lot of their radios and I'd say it wasn't very interesting (well, not compared to what's on public safety, especially up there in the "region").

Well, that was a waste of about two good hours.

I had all the referenced frequencies programmed in and nothing casino related was heard on any of them. In fact, 451.500 sounded more like a cab company dispatch or maybe something dealing with the CTA.

I put my scanner in search mode and wasn't able to find anything casino related through that avenue either.

Since I was so close to the lake, I decided to scan through the maritime channels. Kinda slow there as well. Although I did hear what sounded like railroad track inspections being conducted on 160.800. No maritime database lists 160.800 as a maritime frequency, so what it's doing in my scanner under marine radio frequencies is beyond me.

Anyway, I'll be over by the casino again in a few weeks. Maybe I'll try it again. Who know, maybe I'll have better luck.

You're more likely to have better luck scanning than you are while inside that casino.

no radios are seen by the slot attendants security janitors mainteance head honchos etc..
even the ushers at the venue.. They are using sometype of iden nextel phone looked like a oversized nextell that is able to direct connect. The only radios seen there were some guys that were with vince gill and had allacess passes on them.. the only other person with a two way radio was one security guy i saw in the venue with a S3 shirt/jacket he was probally doing securtiy detail for vince gill..
The ushers/securty at the venue dont have radios at all 469.500 025 was most likely vince gill's crew and or his personal security allong with 468.6375 also found close call in the venue
