Taking off for Horsetooh today for a weekend camping trip and looking to see what would be good to monitor. Here is what I have found so far........

154.11500 PARKS-1 Larimer County Parks & Open Lands Channel-1
151.25000 PARKS-2 Larimer County Parks & Open Lands Channel-2 (Tactical)

Assuming the park rangers use the above channels?

Also will program in the state DTRS for Larimer Cnty.

362 Horsetooth Mtn 853.88750

Any other talk groups/towers/freq's that anyone recommends?

Thanks in advance!

LC Parks etc

LC Parks are also using the DTRS.
TGs are listed on RR site.

You might want to monitor the dispatch for Greeley Medical Air flights.
TG also on RR.

Not much conventional up here anymore but at least the DTRS is still in 800 MHz range.

Stay cool...
