Yeah a friend had just IM'd me about 30mins ago askin about this, then I hear it on the scanner.

Amazing how fast civilization breaks down.

They might be using the online scanner feeds, but given how alot of media use scanners, I would not be surprised if they had a listening post setup somewhere listening to the same systems and frequencies the scanner feeds are. If we can do it they can do it. The media could be close enough to also hear the ITac repeaters used by New Orleans Police.
