Does anyone know what talkgroups/frequencies are currently in use down there?
I would guess there are a large number of Comm Trucks on scene that could program any common Moto Radio in about 2 minutes.I got off the phone with a Moto dealer in Cali last night, he said he sent a few hundred portables and a few mobiles down to Houston to assist with the relief, he stated he had programmed them with the Nationwide Interop Frequencies, nothing trunked, I'm still quite confused on what they're operating on. You think it'd be the Texas IOP since it's in Texas, but I suppose if there are agencies from different states then they'd use the nationwide.
he stated he had programmed them with the Nationwide Interop Frequencies said:Could the person be talking about these frequencies?

165.3125 NAC $293 is active with encrypted comms from what is almost certainly an airborne asset.
This is a common US Coast Guard Sector frequency, so I suspect it is being used as a USCG air asset coordination freq from one of the KING Air Force C-130's or the Air Force E-3 AWACS that has been on station for the past few days to provide air coordination.
Believe it or not, there was a ton of rescue activity over Zello. Not public safety stuff, but the Cajun Navy used Zello a bunch. Some ham stuff was run through it also but nothing official.
Zello. Live conversations. Please explain what Zello is?
