I've been out of the game since Phase II became active and now looking to get back into scanners. I have been reading that the 325p2 is good, but the 436 is really what is best with multi-site systems.

Will listen to Pasadena/So Houston the most.

Thoughts on the 325p2 vs the 436hp for the Houston area?

Thanks in advance.

I have not used the 325p2 but I have both the 436hp and 536hp and they perform very well for Pasadena. They are on the Houston Public Safety Southeast Simulcast site which is phase 2. I also own both the whistler Trx-1 and Trx-2 and the perform horribly on phase 2 for me and I've tried several antennas. I would go for the 436hp. That is my opinion.
