The new behavior --- channel hold, but not site hold --- does not work well on systems where calls are not often carried on more than one site. For example, I monitor TxWARN, RR system 4563. I can hear many sites well from my location, and I scan 5 of them. But TxWARN has 80K users, so it is configured so as to not carry calls on multiple sites unless it's really necessary.
The result is that when I enter Channel Hold, the scanner now spends a second or two on each of the [for me five] sites that I'm scanning, only one of which is likely carrying the call, before rotating back to the only site where the call is taking place; ergo, I miss most or all of the conversation.
Any chance of getting a setting to flip Channel Hold between the new "Channel Only Hold" behavior and the old "Channel and Site Hold" behavior?
