BCD396XT: how can I keep the backlight on at all times?

I set it to Infinite and no light at all I set it to squelch and it only stays on for like 5 seconds or so.. How can I make it on at all times? 1.11.10

When its set to infinite, you turn it on and off manually with the power button, there's no timer.
