How can I see the agency on BCT15

Hey all as you know I have a BCT15 and have been able to monitor the state dps now. I cant seem to figure out to view the name of the agency, instead of the TGIDS an ideas would be great.

You have to use Alpha tagging manually to see any names associated with a TGID. Go to menu and change the group name from the TGID that is displayed to the actual name of that TGID. Also you may want to change the display mode to mode 2 so you can see both the freq and TGID displayed. To do that press HOLD then the FUNCTION knob then 0 This toggles the mode back and forth between modes 1 & 2 .

Thanks spooney, that little MODE 2 tip makes the information on the display much more useful!

I guess that I need to read the manual more carefully, but, truth be told, I'd rather read a book of nothing but ASCII data than to try to decipher a Uniden Owners Manual!
