How do I amplify headphone out jack?

I have a GRE PSR-800 that has only a headphone jack. On my other scanners there is a rf out jack that I plug into a Nitelogger, which has a VOX circuit, which then goes to a tape recorder. The headphone jack on the GRE doesn't have enough juice to power the Nitelogger. So I'm looking for something to amplify the signal.
Any suggestions?
