The only swr meter i have is for hf (80-10meters) and i want to test swr on 2meters, i'm testing forward/reflected power, but does it corelate to swr in any way? i know i need the lowest amount of reflected power, but does it equate out at all?

thanks for help...

An HF SWR meter will not read accurately on VHF.
SWR is related to forward and reflected power. The formula is
VSWR = (1+SQRT(reflected power/forward power))/(1-SQRT(reflected power/forward power))
