How do I get frequency to display?

I just noticed on my bcd996p2 when stopped on a signal the frequency is not displaying, just "NFM". I am not using trunking, just conventional stuff. This only happens on some QK's....for example I have the standard marine channels programmed in QK 2. When a channel becomes active it shows "NFM" instead of frequency. It was displaying frequency yesterday! Then on another QK the freq IS displaying.

Take a look at page 24 in the BCD996P2 manual - this shows the various "Display Modes." It sounds like you want "Conventional Display Mode 2" which will show system name, the text tag ID, the frequency and the tone code. On page 70, the manual indicates "To toggle between Display Modes 1, 2 or 3 Hold on any channel and press ● then 6(DISP). Press Hold to resume."

If you are using "Service Search" for the marine channels, then it always shows the modulation type there.

OK I got it fixed....somehow the display got changed to a different one. I needed "conventional display 2"
