Large forums attract a wide variety of people. Some you're going to want to ignore. The forum software we use has a built-in function to do this. Here's how:
To remove someone uncheck the box next to their name and click Save Changes.
Keep in mind this will not wipe all existence of them from the forum. You'll still know they're there you just won't see the details.
If you want to get fancy there are Greasemonkey scripts out there to make the process easier or enhance the ignore effect. You're on your own trying these as they may or may not work. Here are some examples you can try: UserScripts.org
- Click this link which takes you to your Ignore List within your User CP.
- In the box below Add a Member to Your List... enter the member's name. As you type it will display possible member names.
- Click Okay.
