BCT15X: How do I just scan my private groups or systems?

Been working on this all day and its very possible that this answer is already on the forums, because I barely checked but just want to get an answer. I live in Ny, I programmed in all the freqs that I want to listen to in a private system>group. I however, cannot for the life of me figure out how to just scan my own frequencies, it keeps taking me to Alabama frequencies... I dont want to scan outside of the private group. I have always had the smaller BC350/355 series scanners and those were extremely easy to program but I finally stepped up because I wanted alpha tagging... Thanks.

Turn off State-by-State scanning (StatebyStateScanning < UnidenMan4 < TWiki)

Thankyou, that helped one issue, but now it keeps going to custom, news and general public safety aswell... How do I turn those off?

You've turned on all of the search modes. You'll need to press F+L/O, L/O (two times) for each one as it is being searched to do a permanent lockout on them.
