how do i listen to mcdonlads thingies

i have 54 frequenciesl, but i enter them and never hear anyhting. should i be using one of the trunked uh.. presets (i have a rs pro-94) or should i just use conventional.. non-trunked?

They use conventional frequenies. Around here, the output is on 35.22 MHz and the input is on 154.600 MHz.

I have found it to be quite amazing how far away those "thingys" can be heard.

I have a friend who used to own several of the McDonalds around here. I told him about my ability to eavesdrop on the drive-thru window on my scanner. He said he used to park out of sight and use a scanner to check up on his workers.

just another reason for me to take this pro-94 back and get the pro-96 right?


will it work with the pro-96?

nope. different digital.

about the best you can do is get one of those Mickey D's employees to give you one of their new headsets...
