Pulled an old PSR410 out of storage. It is being sold to a news agency as their VHF analog wildfire monitor scanner.

I have ARC500PRO demo, and also Win500 demo, but when trying to upload programming, the scanner beeps and says incorrect model number and reboots.

The PSR410 does work with the Win500 remote control, displaying it's screen on the PC.

I am using the RS 20-546 cable, no adapters.

Anyone have any ideas? These softwares work fine with the 3 other GRE600 I have, and also trying to clone over the analog stuff from a PSR600 would save me reimporting the RRdb thing, or manually punching in a hundred frequencies.

I use PSREdit310 to program my PSR410, and it works great. I haven’t tried Win500, though.

Also, it looks like ARC310 is the version needed instead of ARC500, according to the Easier to Read Manual.

I use WIN500. Make sure to select the correct radio model. WIN500 supports several models.

For F sake, there is a separate menu line item for Upload to PSR31/410 below the normal Upload Download menu selections....radio is programmed. Thank you.

I did check on program start for PSR410, and also for the remote server, so I guess there are three places to select things so I got confused.
