How do I reset my 'stored' messages back to zero?

I checked my inbox just recently, and it said I had over 2 dozen 'stored' messages. However, on the old board, I didn't have much of anything there. What's with this, and how can I drop these evidently phantom messages?

Check you sent messages and see if that is where they are coming from.

It seems eleven of my private messages that I had sent out migrated over to this vBulletin forum . I was under the assumption that I had deleted them previously .
What I did was check-mark all of them and clicked Delete on the Options and now my
Private Messages total is at zero.

Dubbin was correct; evidently the conversion brought the 'sent' messages as 'stored' messages. Once I selected and deleted them using the pull down, all is well Thanx es 73s Mike

Just as an added feature, you can download all the messages in your inbox, sent box, etc. before you delete them, then you can have a record on your computer. Just an added benefit of the new software. However, note that you can only store a total of 50 messges on the site (including inbox, sent, etc.) now.
