How do I set up SAME (PSR-310)?

Hi,

Very much enjoying my new PSR-310, which I bought along with the cable and Butel's software.

I was wondering how to enable SAME though; I entered the SAME code for my county into the software, and it is listed properly in the scanner.

I wanted to know if you need PriWX turned on for SAME to work.

Also, what is SAME Standby and how does that work?

The ProWX option will check for a 1050Hz tone every 6 seconds by default. It does not check the SAME code at all. When enabled, your scanner will interrupt whatever is coming through at the check interval looking for the tone only.

To activate based on SAME, you must put the scanner in SAME standby mode. Unfortunately you can't be in SAME standby mode and scan at the same time.
