How do you know if your area is digital or analog?

Hi All,

Total newb question here....when looking at frequencies for your area in the database, how do you know what's digital and what's analog? I'm mostly concerned with Ventura, CA (Ventura County, California (CA) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference).

D or P25 in the MODE column is digital.
