How does DSD+1.101 differentiate between TIII systems

I am experiencing an issue with DSD+ 1.101 (fast lane release) not detecting the correct system and site as defined in the networks and sites files. Reading the DMR TIII handling guide in the DSDPlus notes, is it the area length that determines how DSD handles similar TIII systems?

For example I currently have two TIII systems defined in the networks and sites files:

TIII, 13, "VHF DMR TIII", 5
TIII, 1, "UHF TIII", 5

The VHF network has sites with 1.X, 3.X and 4.X. and examples of Syscodes are:
SysCode=10.0000.00000000
SysCode=10.1100.00010100
SysCode=10.1100.00010101

The UHF network has sites 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3

A third (and new system) is just getting setup and the only site I can receive at the moment shows:
SysCode=10.0000.00000000; Registration req'd; CSC=149
-DMR slot2 BS DATA DCC=0 Idle
-DMR slot1 BS DATA DCC=0 CSBK [LB=1 CSBKO=40 (Broadcast) FID=0 v16=0FFF id1=16351235 id2=16777215]
28 00 0FFF F98003 FFFFFF
101010000000000000001111111111111111100110000000000000111111111111111111111111110000001110100101

When monitoring this new system / site, DSD thinks it is monitoring the L1-1.1 site of the old UHF network (I have added the new system / site to the networks and sites files). What am I missing in my setup to steer DSD to the correct system??

Hello,

There is something wrong somewhere.

SysCode=10.0000.00000000 this decodes as Large Model Net 0 Site 0
SysCode=10.1100.00010100 this decodes as Large Model Net 12 Site 20
SysCode=10.1100.00010101 this decides as Large Model Net 12 Site 21

DSD is likely using base 1 for the ids, so the system identifiers convert to:
Large Net 1 Site 1
Large Net 13 Site 21
Large Net 13 Site 22

The Net 1 Site 1 site would be a different system than the other two sites. It is on a different network. Since you are also receiving another site with the same system identifier, DSD+ would consider it the same system.

It appears SysCode=10.0000.00000000 is a DSD+ decoding error and that is not the correct SysCode.

I noticed if I hit DSD 1.100 with my Hytera using the built in Basic encrypt function, DSD shows it as XPT and displays the incorrect talk group number.

When I switch back to clear, it keeps showing XPT and the incorrect group number.

If I restart DSD and try clear voice, everything is correct (DMR, group code).

None of my talkaround zone channels are set up as "Pseudo Trunk". So I'm not sure where it gets that indication from.

Thanks Eric,

It seems the new site is not fully / properly configured as yet. I might have to go for a drive and check the sites on the system that are fully up and running and check what they come up as.
