Anyone use the '55 for monitoring Mil-Air? If so how does it work or not work?

Currently I do not have one, but I've owned two in the past and they do exceptionally well on MilAir!

The 2055 works fine for Milair. I was using a 2052 but sold it to get the 2055. The 2052 was excellent in the 225-400 mHZ range, however I was not able to switch the receive mode to AM when tuning the 138-144 mHZ range. With the 2055 I am able to switch the receive mode and use Alpha Tags which I have found to be very beneficial. I am quite happy with the performance of the 2055.

I have to agree with dparana that it works very well on the Mil air and the Alpha tags is a big plus. I was using my old 2035 for Mil air before and the 2055 is right in there with it on gain. The only thing I have seen with the 2055 vs my 2035 is it gets hit a bit more by a local pager on 152.48.
