I currently have four; an old PRO-2006. a PRO-83, a PRO-96 and a PRO-2096. I also had an ICOM R5, but it was stolen a few years ago. I can see myself possibly getting one or two more in the near future for specific purposes. I can also see myself upgrading some of these as time goes on -- unless/until everyone around here goes full time encryption.
I currently own 8: Uniden BC785D w/ P25 Card, BC796D, Radio Shack Pro-96, Pro-2096, Pro-2035 w/ Opto 535 Card, Optoelectronics Optocom, Realistic Pro-12 (Used as a base station) and Pro-77.
I still have my first scanner...A Regency TMR-8H (crystals) from 1971. During the 1970's, I lived in Indianapolis, where Regency and Bearcat scanners were made. I was partial to Regencies and had several of them. Still have them all .... and they all still work.
I too am down sizing. At this point I'm down to : Pro-96, Pro-2096, Pro-92, Pro-2006, BC 760XLT with tone board, BC 200XLT. Not including my other toys including a Yeasu VX7R, Radio Shack HTX-242, and an Alinco DR430TQ with memmory card.
