I currently only own four scanners. I will soon have five . Right now I have

GRE PSR 500, at the time of this posting it should be on the way back from Le Roy New york, repaired! This is my primary radio, and I've missed it!

Pro106 this is a secondary scanner with talkgroups I don't normally monitor . And lots of frequencies related to military aviation, also several federal government and military systems .

Pro164 this radio is exclusively used to stream my Seattle police and fire scanner feed.

Pro163 This has several LTR business systems with a lot of unknown businesses to monitor, I try figuring out who's who. This radio also has Centurylink field. Home of the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL and Seattle Sounders of major league soccer . Centurylink also hosts other events, like motocross etc. I also have lots of aviation frequencies in the radio related to the military .

I plan to get a BCD 436HP .

Let,s see ,
There is the Pro 2040 in my work truck mounts in a custom console with a CB.
A Psr800 in the work truck because the 2040 doesn't do digital. or trunk track
A Pro 2096 in my truck .
A Pro 18 that is my all around scanner, house, work truck, my truck, or just walking around.
A BC235XLT from the old times as my 1st trunk tracker, used mostly for racing coverage.
And lastly aPro 18 NIB just because the price on Overstock.com was too good to pass up:)

I have close to 70.
Every time I count, I come up with a different number.;)

Forty of them are Uniden BCT15*, BCD396*, and BCD996. (The others are mostly PRO-2006 and PRO-2042 etc.)

The Unidens are all running 24x7 with seven computers logging, providing online feeds, and copying digital modes, tracking aircraft, NOAA weather photos etc.

How many scanners do you own?

13. Did have 15, but I've given two away within the last month.

For a detailed listing, see below.

However, the optimal number of scanners / radios is R+1

R being the current number of radios one owns, plus one more. ALWAYS plus one more.

:)

I have 3. I use a BC355N as my base in the living room beside my chair. I have an HP-1 that I use for mobile and a BC125AT that I carry around if I go outside and there's something going on that I want to hear.

Around 30, not to mention 10 shortwave radios - but, on a daily basis use the HP-1, PSR 800, Pro 106 and Pro-163. Keep a Pro-107 in my computer bag for work and the rest get played with on a rotating basis. One of these days I will "thin the herd", but it is so hard to pick who should go!! :)

I only have two. A BC125AT for the car and a BCD396XT at the house and when I'm portable. Loving the new digital scanner.

On the weekends I bring in the BC125AT to monitor analog and I have the BCD396XT monitoring digital. When they both come on at the same time, I can't keep it straight. lol.

How can some of you listen to all that traffic at once?! haha.
