My friend recently came from his Europe vacation trip with a Parckard BEll Laptop (Running Windows XP). Its really a very good laptop with lots of features. He got a cable with his laptop to connect to a TV. It has three cables green red and blue, but his TV has red yellow and white plug holes. Wondering will this cable work fine or he need something extra. Need your help to perform this task.

Thanks..

Packard Bell slunk away to Europe to sell it's "PCs". They are actually pretty popular over there from what I've heard.

Good luck. Component to Composite cables are non-existent.

One other thing to worry about since this laptop is from Europe is what video format does it use. In the US the analog video standard is NTSC while in Europe they use mostly PAL with some SECAM. Generally these formats are not interchangable.

See here for who uses (or used) what format --> What is NTSC, PAL and SECAM
