How to control Virtual audio cable input for DSD

Hello, I am trying to use virtual audio cable with DSD+ for my SDR but I am running into an issue, I cannot adjust the input volume for the virtual line in cable and as a result the input audio is screaming full blast into DSD+ causing a horrible decode. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Windows audio control has no effect on the level whatsoever.

You can adjust it using the volume mixer
