How to display bank info in trunking...

Hello
When I check the menu/back button i see a line "display babk" :eek:ff
how do i turn this to on .... ?
I didnt see anything mentioned about it on the scanner .....

2) is there any quicker way to transfer a freq to memory other then turning the knob so much (say i want to enter it to mem 500) .... ???

I think you may need to give us a little more info, like what scanner model you have, and what program are you using?

more info

Sorry I forgot , The scanner is BC259D
and no external program it is what happened when i press the following button i described .... and i do it while listening to Trunked system ...
if i press it in regular conventional channel i get a difrent info ...and the Bank line dont apear there ...

i also discovered that pressing the Freq Button for two seconds toggle between banks / dial ..... selection

You can also press SRCH to scan ID SEARCH, this scans banks, not bank list. Pressing SCAN returns to ID SCAN, this scans bank list, not banks.

The exception to both is when you are also scanning conventional frequencies in the trunked bank. This will alternate between ID list for trunked and banks for conventional during ID SCAN Mode. In ID SEARCH, the scanner stays in banks but alternates between ID SEARCH and conventional SCAN.
