how to enter frequencies/talkgroup and lcn using arc15 software

Hi

Just bought a uniden bct15 with arc15 software(Butel) from scannermaster.

I cannot figure out how to enter a talkgroup, frequency and lcn using the software.

Any help would be appreciated.

Be more specific - what system are you trying to enter? Look it up in the database (see the link in the top blue toolbar?) and supply the URL. That way the answer can be tailored to your need.

There is an 'easier to read' manual for the BCT15, and it's highly advisable particularly if you've never done anything like this before. It's always valuable to learn the steps manually before you use software. That way, you learn why things work in the way they do.

Thanks for the response.

I am entering frequency 453.7375 talkgroup 0-01-111.

Interesting, I did find the site that has the "easier to use manual".

Pretty helpful. Still trying to figure out the above.

Nice scanner(Uniden BCT15)


Also, I try to assign a channel as priority, something that seems quite simple. It reads Priority Scan No channel.

I had a 780xlt before this and it was easier to work with.

Add a new System and change the system type to Edacs or LT, now you will see a trunk frequencies tab and there you can enter the frequencies and LCN.
The talkgroup must be entered in a group. if no groups are shown click the add Group button.
