how do you get a frequencie for a pager like this. can you put a radio frequency in a alpha pager

That pager uses a cellular signal to receive it's information - well above the range of public safety users. It also is receiving digital information, not an audio signal.

No, it doesn't. It's a FLEX pager so it operates on 900MHz.

Sometimes the other side of the pager will list the frequency. Otherwise you need to read the pager's programming, which hopefully is not password protected. The pager you show is synthesized so it can be programmed as needed.
