I'm using a BCT15X and trying to stream to Broadcastify I was wondering if there was some software that would save the transmission and play it lets say 5 seconds later so I'm not just hearig 10-4 randomly out of nowhere thanks!

How will delaying it 5 seconds change whether you hear "10-4" randomly out of nowhere?
That's not what I'm saying I mean can I record the incoming transmissions and then they play after the one before that

Are you saying you want to record the audio from the scanner and then play it back out of order? No.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "then they play after the one before that"

Do you mean you record audio 1 and audio 2 and audio 3 and audio 4 (which is a 10-4 of info from audio 2) so you want it to play back in the following order. Audio 1 then Audio 2 then Audio 4 then Audio 3?

Yes I want to record the transmission and then wait for a response play that then goto another transmission record it then play back that response

You can only set the delay where when a transmission ends, how long will the scanner wait for a response (in seconds) before it starts scanning again. The delay is after each transmission, say dispatch calls a car... The scanner will wait up your delay time for any other transmission on that channel if the car being called responds the delay starts all over again. If some other car calls in, even if not related to that call that dispatch originally called, you start another delay, etc.

So other than that delay, no, you can't wait for a specific callback.

With ProScan you can record everything that scanner receives and play back at will. Need a Windows PC connected to scanner. You decide what to play back and in what order from ProScan UI or from Windows File Explorer.

If you are feeding a single frequency/talkgroup it's not an issue. If you are feeding more than one, you can increase the delay on the channel, but that could be at the risk of missing transmissons occurring on other channels. People listening to Broadcastify know that they run the risk of coming in on the random 10-4, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

If you are not an official feed, Broadcastify does not allow delayed feeds.

I've been using the zello app with great success. A little easier if your scanning with an sdr, but you can set up for a stand alone scanner too. The nice feature of the app is being able to mute the source of the call and they will record in the app so you can play them back later at your discretion. Comes in really handy for me at work so I can listen to the calls when its quiet enough to hear them.
