How to lock out an ID in an pro- 106

I have been trying for a few days to L/O a certain ID in my pro-106. I cannot figure it out. Please help !

Step by step if possible

While stopped on the ID, press L/OUT. That is a temporary lockout. The lockout will be cleared when you turn off the scanner. For a permanent lockout, press FUNC and then L/OUT.

Thank you very much. Does the scanner have to be in scan mode and then press pause and then func, then L/O.

You can press PAUSE or MAN. If in MAN, you can select the scan list using the left and right arrows and scroll to the ID using the up and down arrows. You don't have to wait for the ID to be active when using MAN.

Are you trying to lock out a conventional frequency, talk group or talk group when using a wild card in a trunked system? There are some slight differences. Generally speaking you can navigate manually to the CONV or TGRP object and lock it out using one of the two methods (L/O or FUNC L/O).
