So what are the exact frequencies that are used? Is there an exact channel numbering like the old 49 MHz cordless phones?

1920-1930 Mhz is dedicated for DECT 6.0. that's 10 Mhz of bandwidth, in digital format, so figuring 6.25 Khz spacing, you're looking at thousands of frequencies using frequency hopping technology.

Not quite. In the US/Canada, there are 5 carriers used by DECT 6.0 in North America.

A bit of searching on RR shows that the second post of the following thread answers your question:

Yea... Not much help in that thread.

DECT6.0 is, or is likely encrypted, regardless, the encryption is not secure. If someone was set to monitor, it would not take a whole lot to defeat the encryption used:

Wow, looking into it a little further, it's only 32 channels, and it appears that not all of them are used. I would have figured on a much more complicated system. (For the OP, your frequencies are on page 12)

It's still encrypted though, and I believe that attempting to defeat encryption while not being a party to the conversation, as the OP wishes to do, is still illegal.

Europen DECT Phones are also not allowed in North America, causes up link interference in the PCS 1900 band.

There might be some things you can do with SDR.

I see no issue in experimenting with *Your Own* DECT phone if you so desire.

Gentlemen, let's try and not let this interesting technical discussion stray off course.

I've deleted the comments from the radio police gallery.

Carry on.

Completely can't understand anything in that link. Seems like you have to be a programmer to be in this hobby any more. And I absolutely HATE that obnoxious GitHub website that everyone's into. Everyone else seems to understand it but me.

So how many times per second, if anyone knows? And, what digital mode is used? I don't suppose it's anything like P25 or DMR?
