Hi, i would like to know how to alpha tag the unit id?
I didn't find this in the manual.if you look in the manual you will find the answers you are looking for
To enter a Unit ID (Radio ID), press (.)no once then enter the ID and press E/yes. |
Notes: To view unit IDs you have to turn the option on in the 'Settings' menu. Other channel attributes (alerts, etc.) will not be applied to Unit ID channels. |
Page 61 Edit NameI didn't find this in the manual.
What page is it on? Or are you just wasting our time with a non-response?
Let me know if it actually works.I didn't even know you could edit the unit ID and put a name to it.

I have all of the UID's in a text file.it does work but you have to remember the uid number to punch it in then you can rename it
