ARCXT: How to open / use a pfl file with ARC XT pro (demo) from another computer ?

I have recently bought a second hand Uniden BCT 15X but with ARC a pfl file someone sent me will not show the various frequency ranges just a load of new system folders. I read an old thread here but it doesn't work for me so please help me resolve this someone thanks !

So with a little practice, this program works great for my needs. What I can't resolve, is after getting everything just so and saving it to my hard drive- I then want to copy it (thumb drive) and stick a copy on another PC. No that it matters, but the laptop I use "live" since I can take it...

A profile (pfl) is nothing more than a list of (rsf) system files to open. You can create a list of systems you commonly use so you don't need to open each file individually. It is a convenience. The rsf files have all of the system, frequency, site, and talkgroup information. A profile is useless without the system files. It contains no programming information, only a list of files. You need to have the files to open. Once you have the files open you desire, go to the File tab and click on Save Profile or Save Profile As.
