Hi all.
I was scanning around the freqs tonight here in Memphis, TN and I ran across 380.7250Mhz. It sounds exactly like a typical Motorola control channel.
Unitrunker never decodes anything at from that freq.
I tried programming it into my bcd996T as standard 800Mhz, VHF, and UHF but the scanner chokes and says "OUT OF BAND" when I try to enter the frequency.
Is it possible to program this into the scanner? If not, why would that Motorola-sounding control channel be there?
I'm fairly certain its not a P25 system because the P25 control channel sounds different.. best I can describe the P25 channel is that it sounds like an "idling diesel truck".
Now, maybe it IS a P25 system.. there *IS* a confirmed P25 Dept. of Defense control channel just a bit up the band at 380.025 -- that one DOES sound like an idling truck.
Thanks for any info on programming it!
