Is the most common pronunciation "envis" or "en vee eye ess"?

I prefer to say "envis" because it's shorter and faster, but if that's not what people generally say I can change my ways. Any consensus on this (cloud) burning issue?

I've heard N VIS, and envees... But for me, I go with the letters N V I S

If you can't figure out how to pronounce it, why not just spell it, "N V I S"? I think "En- vizz" is close enough. If they say, "Huh?", then spell it.

It's not a matter of "figuring out," it's a matter of convention in pronunciation. Rather than floundering around on the air, it's much easier to ask on a friendly forum like this one, once, and be done with it.
