Unfortunately, this remains a bit of a mystery. Icom does not document much that has to do with its Ethernet support. The radio is listening on a couple of ports but trying to talk to them usually means you're going to power cycle the radio.

Also disappointing is that Icom mentions audio over LAN as a feature of the radio but offers no instructions on how to use it.
