how to repair keypad 396t

anyone have any ideas on how to repair a broken keypad on a 396t?... was workin great until last week when i turned it on an everything was erased and it all seems to work besides the keypad .i just wondering if theres anything that i can do to fix it myself or if it has to be sent away for repair, if so where would be a good place to have it repaired ? thanks.

Just a long shot because I am not sure how you got the information back in it and got it working, but are you sure it's not just locked out [func & on/off light button] will unlock it.

repaired an runnin again

well its up an running again as good as ever .... i decided to take it apart myself an have a look at it while it was all apart i pluged it in an played around with the keyboard section of it an gave it a wipe with a q-tip in behind the buttons then tryed them and theystarted working so iput it back together an reprogramed it and it seems to be workin fine so hopfully i saved myself from having to send it away for costly little repair.
