Without getting too OT, you can't program a DMR radio unless you use a TG. That's why you'll always see one. Not the case for NXDN as has already been stated.

Getting back to the point - ive taken a screenshot of a Nexedge trunk system in DSD to further explain determining Nexedge "LCN" and whatnot -
The window outlined in red is what your looking for
As you can see the control channel is 807 whereas 801 and 803 are voice channels
Also im not sure if this is a standard thing with nexedge trunk systems but as far as this system in particular goes - the control channels seem to alternate from day to day in other words today the control channel is 807 but tomorrow perhaps channel 803 could be the control channel and so on...
