Hi folks...newby here.

I have an RTL-SDR.com SDR, and am currently using SDR Console v3.x, along with SDR#.

I'd like to be able to watch (on the waterfall) as wide a frequency range as possible...I've searched around for a way to get a broader view than a shown in my screenshot, but can't find a way to make the waterfall wider? Is this a hardware limitation?

Thanks...

What are your settings? I know in sdr#, if you hit the cog, to get into settings, then look for sample rate. 2.4 is just under a 2.5mhz view. When parked on a freq, the window (waterfall) will only be as wide as the selected sample rate that the dongle supports... In your screenshot, its showing span as 1.5mhz. Looking in the SDR Console for span or sample rate..

Dave...is this what you mean? (see pic) The bandwidth, which in the drop-down box is now set to 3MHz?

Thanks...

You should have a 3.2MHz sample rate in the cog wheel with a RTL-SDR that will give you a 3MHz span.

Ubbe...

OK...3.2MHz "sample rate"...(which I assume has nothing to do with the "bandwidth" setting, correct?).

So OK...I've looked and looked in SDR Console, and can't find a setting for "sample rate".

I see it there in SDR# by pressing the cog wheel, but can't find that same setting in SDR Console? Do you know where it is?

Thanks...
