Howells FG2

I keep getting radio traffic on the Howells FG2 (460.375 FM) but it is police activity. Does anyone know what police agency that would be? Could it be Wallkill PD (they are at 460.35)?

Yea, you might be picking up East Fishkill PD in Dutchess. Both Howels FG 2 and East Fishkill PD have the same frequency, 460.375.

To give you an example I live in Westchester, now Cortland EMS and Putnam EMS Dispach, 155.205. They both have the same frequency, and I hear both on one frequency, if that makes sense. So I have this channel programmed in as "EMS Disp. 155.205" and sometimes I'll hear westchester communications (60-Control) and Putnam Communications (Putnam 911).

Now my question is are you just hearing PD traffic? Or both?

I'm sure that after listening to some of the activity you're hearing, you can easily figure out who you're hearing by looking up the street names.

I only pick up traffic from Howells Fire, when operating in their vicinity, because I am using DCS 412 with their 460.3750; and only East Fishkill PD traffic, when operating on that side of the river, since I'm using their DCS (043) with 460.3750R.

Well, unfortunately, no one ever submitted the 412 DPL for 460.375, so it defaults to CSQ.

I've gone ahead and made the update to the Howells FG frequency in the database.
