I am thinking about buying the Radio Shack discone scanner/ham antenna radio shack pert #20-043. I am looking for a decent quality antenna that works with all bands. Let me know if you have any experiences with it. Thanks, Eric.

It won't last that long. I think I'd define it as decent but not great for lasting a long time with normal weather. The metal will eventually corrode and break off. The plastic separating the lower elements from the horizontal elements will eventually crack.
There's a reason it's cheap. Spend a few bucks more and go for something else like a Scantenna or one of the better discones (AH7000 for example).
