HP-1 Custom colors for department and channels?

What do you mean by colors? You couldn't really change the color of the screen because of it being a LCD. Leave the backlight color to the 396/996 XT.

The HP1 utilizes a colour lcd display. In theory anything it displays can have its' colour changed. I don't know if Uniden would go for it but it would be interesting to have at least some user control over the colours it displays.

Yes the color of the text ,Like red for for fire,blue for pd ,Etc. Mike

And also is there a way to change icons,Some are saying swat. Mike

Custom color would be outstanding new feature.
I complained about icons when HP came out .. I think I was in the minority.
The SWAT one makes no sense at all.

The icons are determined by the "Tag" column in the RR database.

You can use the Sentinel program to edit the tags, if you wish.

Thanks W9RXR changed to law talk nows shows up as police car,Which is more appropriate I've only had for a few days So far most everything is changeable.Well except for colors ......lol Mike
