HP-1 Favorite List HOLD Time

I've noticed that when I'm listening to multiple Favorite Lists that it scans even a very small list for an extended period of time. Unlike the 996xt, the HP-1 does not have a system HOLD Time setting unless I've missed something, so why does it do this??

Any thoughts? How can the HOLD time be shortened on a system?
